There will be an amateur radio exam on Monday, November 18th, 18:30 start, at room 304 of the Crestview Campus of Northwest Florida State College on Highway 90, about 1/2 mile east of 85.

Going east on 90, from 85, turn south onto Hathaway Street (you will see the Knights of Columbus building as you pass Twin Hills Park), take the next left through the college. Park in the grassy area on the east side of the building, essentially on Highway 90. Room 304 is on the outside, ground floor, right side, as you walk toward the “main area” of the one campus building.

The exam is planned to start at 1830, so please try and arrive about 1800 or a little after. The fee is $10.00; if writing a check, make it out to WCARS/VEC. Unlicensed applicants must have an FRN (Federal Registration Number); Social Security Numbers are no longer allowed. Obtain your FRN from the FCC site at
