Today the Playground Amateur Radio Club hosted a #POTA activation! It was a great time and those that were there got to operate on multiple bands! Many others were present from other area clubs to include North Okaloosa Amateur Radio Club (NOARC), Walton County Amateur Radio Club and Walton County Florida ARES! In all, KC5RFU made 137 POTA contacts. Other contacts were made by other operators experimenting with their gear and testing equipment. Some of those contacts included traffic on 6 meters to New Jersey and the Oregon coast on 10 meters! Stay tuned for what's next and as always, #HamOn
